1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RideGY's mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

RideGY reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Service Description

RideGY is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers for transportation services within Guyana. RideGY does not provide transportation services directly and is not a transportation carrier.

All drivers are independent contractors and not employees of RideGY. RideGY acts solely as an intermediary between riders and drivers.

3. User Accounts

To use RideGY, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (riders under 18 must have parental consent)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Driver Requirements

To become a RideGY driver, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Have valid vehicle registration and insurance
• Pass a background check and document verification
• Maintain a vehicle that meets RideGY's standards

5. Fares and Payments

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, ride category (Economy, Premium, XL, Luxury), and surge pricing during high-demand periods. All fares are displayed before you confirm your ride request.

Payment is processed through Stripe. By using RideGY, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all completed trips.

RideGY retains a commission (default 20%) from each completed trip. The remaining amount is paid to the driver.

Users must not:

• Engage in threatening, harassing, or discriminatory behavior
• Damage vehicles or property
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Provide false information or impersonate others
• Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews
• Interfere with the operation of the platform

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Safety and Ratings

RideGY provides safety features including real-time GPS tracking, emergency SOS buttons, trip sharing, and in-app chat. However, RideGY cannot guarantee the safety of any trip and is not liable for the actions of independent drivers or riders.

Both riders and drivers can rate each other after trips. Consistently low ratings may result in account deactivation.

9. Limitation of Liability

RideGY is a technology platform only. We are not responsible for the actions, behavior, or services of independent drivers. All transportation services are provided by third-party independent contractors.

RideGY's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property related to RideGY are owned by The TechXpert or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any RideGY content without permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or use of RideGY services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Guyanese law.

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions.

12. Termination

RideGY reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem appropriate. You may also terminate your account at any time through the app settings.
